Scene unseen

Scene Unseen is a collection of everyday moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed. It’s an ode to ordinary aesthetics. A man waiting by a wall, the wrinkled skin of a hand at rest, the sudden blessing by a holy man, the unexpected symmetry of a pose, fragments of daily life that hold a quiet, unspoken beauty. These images are not staged and do not seek to tell full stories. Instead, they capture the unintended choreography of everyday gestures, textures, and encounters that reveal the beauty of moments that are often overlooked. In Sontag’s words ‘a photograph passes for incontrovertible proof that a given thing happened’. Scene Unseen is about celebrating the implicit, often overlooked beauty in this.
